Inter Milan & France Star’s Condition Greatly Improved From Turgid Fiorentina & Juventus Displays For Napoli Clash | OneFootball

The physical condition of Inter Milan striker Marcus Thuram to face Napoli has improved greatly from his displays against Fiorentina and Juventus.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.

Inter Milan have been waiting a couple of weeks for Marcus Thuram to return.

The Nerazzurri have had to be patient. The Frenchman has not been rushing back after sustaining an ankle knock in a Serie A clash with Fiorentina earlier this month.

Thuram had managed to play as a substitute in a match against Juventus.

However, the 27-year-old was blatantly not at full fitness in that match. Therefore, he has sat out matches against Genoa in Serie A and Lazio in the Coppa Italia.

The question for Inter hasn’t just been of whether or not Thuram would be available.

The Nerazzurri have also been hoping to get the former Borussia Monchengladbach and Guingamp striker ready to play in good physical condition.

If Thuram is lacking some freshness, it would certainly limit his impact. The Frenchman is a physically explosive, agile, and quick striker.

But any lingering knock could take away some of that pace and directness from Thuram.

That was evident, particularly in Thuram’s substitute appearance against Juventus.

However, according to Tuttosport there is little doubt about the 27-year-old’s condition. Marcus Thuram should be at something like his best against Napoli tomorrow.
