Simone Inzaghi feels that next Saturday’s Serie A clash between Napoli and Inter Milan will be “important but not decisive” for the title.

The coach spoke to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. He also expressed the view that Atalanta could still get back into the title race.

Inter Milan face Napoli in Serie A at the start of the match.

That match will pit the top two teams in the Serie A table against one another.

The last time that the Nerazzurri and the Partenopei met, it ended in a 1-1 draw.

That match had already felt like it had major ramifications at the top of the Serie A table. But this time around, there is the sense of an outright title decider.

Inzaghi: “Napoli Vs Inter Milan Important But Not Decisive” For Serie A Title

Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi looked ahead to next Saturday’s match.

“It will certainly be an important match,” the Nerazzurri coach said. “Even if it’s not certain that it will be decisive.”

“It still seems too early to say,” Inzaghi argued. “Considering that there are twelve matches left to go.”

“It will certainly be an important match for Inter and Napoli,” the Inter coach commented.

“I don’t think it’s a confrontation between the two coaches,” Inzaghi added. “But rather between two teams, both of whom are doing well.”

“But I also wouldn’t rule out Atalanta,” Inzaghi said. “And even the other teams eight or nine points behind, who are getting back into it, partly thanks to the signings they made in January.”

And Inzaghi commented that winning silverware at the end of the season is “the hope” for Inter.

“What I can say is that we’ll try to fight on all fronts. As we’ve done throughout the last three and a half years.”

“We really like playing for everything,” Inzaghi said. “And playing on the biggest stage.”
