Inter Miami are extremely confident of keeping Lionel Messi for at least another year.
That's according to Athletic journalist David Ornstein who claims that the Major League Soccer club are not concerned about reports of a bid from Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli.
Reports in the French press on Monday claimed that the AFC Champions League winners were ready to start discussions with Messi over a blockbuster deal.
Messi's current contract in Florida ends at the end of 2025, meaning teams are allowed to speak with his representatives.
But the Athletic say that Miami are confident the multiple Ballon d'Or winner will pen a new deal with the club as they move to their new Freedom Park Stadium in 2026.
Messi returned to domestic action over the weekend, scoring twice and assisting once in a 4-1 win over Montreal.
