La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Sunday been afforded some altogether positive news on the personnel front.

This comes amid confirmation that Rodrygo has linked back up with the rest of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad in group training at Valdebebas.

Frontman Rodrygo was for his part a surprise last-minute scratch from Real Madrid’s squad to face Girona on Saturday night.

This came with the Brazilian, fresh off a prior spell on the sidelines, having been struggling with a muscular concern.

Los Blancos nevertheless got the job done in confident fashion at the Estadi Montilivi, ultimately emerging on the right side of a 3-0 result.

But all associated with the club will nevertheless no doubt be delighted to hear that, just 24 hours on, Rodrygo is back out on the grass.

After Carlo Ancelotti revealed his hope that the 23-year-old would be available for selection to face Atalanta in midweek, Rodrygo was then spotted in action at Valdebebas on Sunday morning:
