A player that Chelsea tried to sign in the summer has been spotted watching the Blues on his phone before playing for his new team this weekend.

Chelsea had a great summer window really, but they could have signed another high profile winger ahead of all the business that they ended up doing.

Michael Olise ended up joining Bayern Munich from Crystal Palace, but he could have easily ended up at Chelsea in the summer window if not for a failed attempt to sign him.

Before his game for Bayern this weekend, Olise was tuning in to Chelsea thrashing West Ham on Saturday lunchtime in the Premier League.

It’s a shame that Chelsea didn’t get their man, but they did go on to sign some quality attacking midfielders and now have a very strong squad in that area of the pitch.

Nice to see Olise taking an interest in the mighty Chelsea though!
