Chelsea are not yet done in the transfer market this summer in terms of bringing in new players.
At least that is the view of Alan Shearer, with the former Premier League striker and England international speaking this week off the back of Chelsea’s Club World Cup success.
I also agree with Shearer, there is no way that Chelsea are done yet signing new players and I full expect more to come, especially after winning the Club World Cup.
Blues owner Todd Boehly has been speaking today off the back of the triumph, and he has sent a message to Chelsea supporters.
He has also been explaining what it actually was that got Chelsea the vital and somewhat comfortable win over European Champions PSG on Sunday night.
I have no doubts at all that Chelsea will make more signings in the remaining weeks and months of this summer’s transfer window.
I believe they will sell more players as well, but I can actually see three more new players arriving if they can get some decent outgoing moves along the way.

Shearer, who has been speaking on his Podcast this week in words cited on X, says:
“What a job he’s done, by the way, Maresca. Incredible job he’s done. I mean, the season they’ve had, winning the Conference League, qualifying for the Champions League, winning this [Club World Cup].
“I mean, and they’ve made some really, really good signings already. I don’t suspect they’re finished.”
He’s spot on here really and nobody can take anything away from Maresca right now. Chelsea are certainly not finished in bringing Maresca new players this window either, that is pretty clear to see.
