One former Chelsea striker cannot believe that one current player at the club is bagging certain types of goals this season.
This news comes after Chelsea got a vital three points on Friday night against Manchester United in what was a crucial win for the race for Champions League football next season.
One Chelsea legend Gary Cahill was at the match and he has hailed one key player in the game as being one of the best in Europe after his influence on the match.
Cahill wasn’t the only one praising this player as well, with team mate Pedro Neto joining in and picking up on the character of the Chelsea hero from Friday night.
Chelsea will now move on to their final league game of the season next weekend away at Nottingham Forest, and it’s another game they have to win the secure Champions League qualification.
Reece James’ work for Marc Cucurella’s goal in the United win was incredible, and the header from the left back was pretty good too.
Cucurella has scored a few headed goals for Chelsea this season as he becomes one of their biggest threats in the penalty area for crosses, which is surprising being he is often one of the shortest players on the pitch too!
Marc Cucurella scores for Chelsea against Man U.
Former Chelsea striker Carlton Cole enjoyed the goal but cannot understand how Cucurella is getting these types of goals.
“I like seeing Reece James when he’s in that form,” Cole said on talkSPORT. “That goal he set up today [Friday] for Cucu was unbelievable.
“And how does the smallest player on the pitch, the left-back… how’s he scoring? The smallest player on the pitch, how’s he actually scoring? It’s a great header as well.”
