Manchester City go to battle with Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League semi-final second-leg on Wednesday evening, with the tie finely poised at 1-1.
City, who could win a fifth Premier League title in six years this weekend, are bidding to reach just their second Champions League Final with a win over Real Madrid in midweek.
Pep Guardiola’s side suffered an agonising late defeat in the second-leg of the semi-finals last season, as the La Liga giants inflicted a stunning comeback on the Sky Blues at the Santiago Bernabéu.
This year the second-leg is at the Etihad Stadium, where City have a remarkable recent record and thumped Bundesliga heavyweights Bayern Munich 3-0 in the quarter-finals last month.
Kevin De Bruyne’s powerful strike cancelled out Vinicius Jr’s opening goal in the Spanish capital last Tuesday, with Inter Milan awaiting the winners of Wednesday’s tie in the Champions League Final.
Inter beat local rivals AC Milan 3-0 on aggregate, having taken a 2-0 lead into Tuesday’s second-leg.
