The powers that be at La Liga outfit Sevilla are ready to make use of the impressive start to the campaign being enjoyed by Dodi Lukebakio for financial gain.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have confirmed that the Nervionenses are giving consideration to parting with the Belgian next summer.
Lukebakio has shone over the early weeks of the season, on his way to top-scorer status in García Pimienta’s squad.
His most recent haul came just last night, when the attacker notched both of Sevilla’s goals en route to a 2-0 downing of Espanyol.
Such endeavours have long begun to pique the attentions of clubs across the continent, with Italian heavyweights Juventus, for one, expressing a keen interest in Lukebakio’s signature.
And, as per the aforementioned MD, the Sevilla brass look increasingly ready to accommodate a sale with a view to next season.
Amid the club’s ongoing financial woes, one major outgoing remains needed to balance the books.
And Lukebakio, making a name for himself as something of a shining light at The Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán, is already considered the leading candidate to make way.
