Martin Allen has called on Graham Potter to start Luis Guilherme with hope he will flourish at West Ham.
It certainly hasn’t been the start to life in east London that the Brazilian would have hoped for, following his move last summer – however his display against Bournemouth last week has certainly given believe that there is hope.
Speaking on The West Ham Way, former Hammers midfielder Mad Dog has said he wants to see him given a good run of games now, at the expense of Mohammed Kudus, who he feels is expected to leave the club this summer.
“If the club are to sell Kudus, which looks likely, then he needs to start playing Guilherme – he’s ahead of him now for me,” said the former West Ham midfielder.
“Kudus is fabulous on his day but its been a poor season, for us and for him personally too. Guilherme looked very good when he came on, he’s the future – so play him now and give him a run of games.”
