After having sold Rafa Marin to Napoli, Real Madrid are set to ship off yet another academy youngster to Italy as Nico Paz is all set to join Como.

Indeed, according to Fabrizio Romano, the two clubs have reached an agreement for the 19-year-old Argentine wonderkid’s transfer which will be completed imminently.

As per the report, Real Madrid will receive a fee of €6 million for the youngster, who will join Los Blancos’ legend Raphael Varane at the newly-promoted Serie A outfit.

Romano further updates that the Spanish champions have secured a 50% future sell-on clause for young Nico Paz while also retaining a buyback option for the youngster.

Nico is regarded as one of the most talented youngsters to have come through La Fabrica in recent years.

Having impressed with the youth teams and Castilla, the youngster made his first-team debut for Real Madrid last season and even scored a goal in a Champions League game against Napoli.

The 19-year-old Argentine ace also impressed on the pre-season tour of the USA this summer. But given the competition for places in midfield in the first team, there was simply no place for him in Carlo Ancelotti’s plans.

As such, Real Madrid have now decided to sell Nico to Como but retain some degree of control over his future thanks to the sell-on clause as well as the buyback option.

Nico becomes the latest youth prospect that will be leaving Real Madrid after the likes of Marin, Marvin Park, Juanmi Latasa, and Rafa Obrador (loan) departed this summer.

Mario Martin is also expected to follow suit, with a loan move to Real Valladolid on the horizon for the midfielder.
