Vinicius Junior's 24th-minute opener gave Los Blancos the advantage at the Allianz Arena but a quick turnaround in the second half saw Bayern go ahead through Leroy Sane's equaliser and Harry Kane's penalty.
Before England captain Kane stepped up from the spot, Bellingham was seen getting in his ear with some gamesmanship, though it mattered little as the former Tottenham striker stuttered and sent Andriy Lunin the wrong way.
Speaking after the game, he revealed: "In the moment, I didn't know what he said but I spoke to him after and he said: 'I know you're going to go left of the keeper'.
"But it was nice for me because I saw the keeper go a little bit early and I put it away. Actually on the pitch, I didn't know what he said. I knew he was there but I didn't know what he said. But I went left anyway."

Bayern's two goals arrived in five second-half minutes before the hour mark, though a second mistake from defender Kim Min-jae, who was at fault for Vinicius' first goal, handed Madrid a penalty late on which the Brazilian converted.
Thomas Tuchel's side visit the Bernabeu next week looking for just their third away success at the home of the Spanish giants. However, while they lost the second leg of the semi-final meeting back in 2011/12, Bayern reached the final on penalties after Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka and Sergio Ramos all missed from the spot.
