Hansi Flick provides his take on Barcelona’s Guido Rodríguez move | OneFootball

Incoming Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has informed the club of his take on their ongoing efforts to bring in Guido Rodríguez.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Saturday provided an insight into the situation.

Midfielder Guido, it is understood, has a verbal agreement in place with the Barcelona brass, over the terms of a pre-contract for the summer.

As much comes ahead of the imminent expiration of the World Cup winner’s terms with Real Betis.

The outgoing Xavi green-lighted Guido’s addition, of the opinion that the Argentine would add some much-needed steel and experience to the base of his midfield.

With the Spaniard having since been sent on his way, and Hansi Flick lined up to replace him, however, Guido’s arrival had been thrown somewhat up in the air.

If the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, though, then the 30-year-old need not fret.

As per the aforementioned Sport, Flick has already ‘given his approval’ to Guido’s signing.

The Betis standout is expected to replace the outbound Oriol Romeu in Barcelona’s ranks in the middle of the park, albeit with a 2nd, more high-profile pivot addition also very much on the agenda.
