Hansi Flick continues to ignore Barcelona fans with starting XI to face Alavés | OneFootball

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has on Sunday continued to risk the wrath of the club’s supporters, by way of his latest starting line-up.

Barca are of course primed to return to action in short order, having made the trip to Mendizorroza for a La Liga meeting with Deportivo Alavés.

The club’s final outing ahead of the international break, all of a Blaugrana persuasion will be eager for their side to rack up yet another three points, to maintain their advantage atop the Spanish top-flight table.

A short time ago, the XI of players set to be depended upon by the Barcelona coaching staff to get the job done on Sunday afternoon, in turn, was unveiled online.

And one inclusion in particular has since turned heads.

This comes with Hansi Flick having opted to make use of the heavily under-fire Ferran Torres from the off yet again.

Afforded starts in each of Barca’s last two outings, calls had long mounted amongst the club’s fanbase for the Spanish international to drop back to the bench this weekend.

Flick, however, has stuck to his guns, backing Ferran to prove himself a key contributor against Alavés.
