As reported by Sky Germany, 2. Bundesliga side Hamburg are about to beat Milan to the signing of Lillestrøm winger Alexander Rössing-Lelesiit.
The 18-year-old – who can operate on the left and right – rejected a move to Milan, among others, as the player prefers a move to HSV with the prospect of more playing time. With the long-term injuries to Bakery Jatta and Noah Katterbach, this is entirely possible as the 2. Bundesliga club, even with the arrival of Dire Mebude.
Rössing-Lelesiit played 11 games for Lillestrøm in the Eliteserien, but was unable to prevent the club’s relegation into the second-tier. Although no fee has been reported, the 18-year-old has a contract until August 2026 and is valued at €700k by Transfermarkt.
Sitting third, Hamburg are right in the promotion fight this season, sitting just three points behind FC Köln with a game in hand. HSV were relegated in 2018, and were the only team to play every season in the Bundesliga since its 1963 formation until their relegation.
