Guehi 'extremely unhappy' after transfer collapse

Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi is 'extremely unhappy' following his transfer to Liverpool falling through.

The defender got as far as having his medical with Palace also crafting a farewell video for the player.

It was reported that manager Oliver Glasner played a key role in the decision to cancel the transfer, threatening to walk out if the deal had been done.

Despite being frustrated with the move Guehi is likely to return to first team action after the international break as Palace host Sunderland.

The 25-year-old scored in his last game with the club, a 3-0 win away to Aston Villa, and could still leave during the winter transfer window with the player out of contract next summer.
