Taylor should be allowed to leave if he wants, and you can’t really blame him if that’s his decision…

With Kieran Tierney rumoured to be on the verge of a sensational return to Celtic, it leaves the future of Greg Taylor very much in doubt.

Greg is out of contract at the end of the season and is showing no interest in extending his stay, so it’s very much likely that he will be on the move.

Interested clubs are free to talk to the Scotland international man as of now, and one club in particular have took a reported interest in him, that club being Dinamo Zagreb.

The Croatians are said to be keen on taking Greg to Zagreb in the summer, but with KT close to a return the ex-Kilmarnock man wants to make the move in this window.

You can’t really blame him to be honest as he knows he will be out of the picture with KT in the squad, and with Alex Valle also there, his first team opportunity’s would be limited.

Greg wants to play first team football, he also wants a deal settled so he can safeguard his future.

Greg owes us nothing and is only looking after himself and his family, as he should. He has also been on the end of unfair criticism during his time at the club, despite helping the club to multiple honours.

If he wants to leave, then so be it. You really can’t blame him. I hope a deal can be done for him to stay but if he decides to move on he’ll have my thanks and best wishes.
