Roma’s new signing, Lucas Gourna-Douath, was asked about the impact of Claudio Ranieri.
The French midfielder spoke to reporters following his first appearance for Roma in tonight’s win over Venezia.
“I’ve been here for a week, I’ve played against Roma in the past, I’m happy to be here, to play for Roma. It’s a great feeling,” he said in his post-match presser.
“My first call with Ranieri? I was in Salzburg, about to leave for another destination. But I received a call from the coach, we talked for about half an hour, after which I told him that I would fight for him until the end and I am grateful to be here and to be trained by him.”
“I don’t know the details of my contract, I’m just trying to live my life, enjoy this experience, I’m happy and motivated.”
“Cristante? I was happy at the idea of playing next to a player like him, I had already played against him and everyone knows how strong and experienced he is.”
“Tellow card? It is clear that I have to improve in this sense, I already have some experience even if I am young and I have to improve if I want to become one of the strongest players.”
