La Liga outfit Girona have on Saturday announced a blow on the personnel front.

This comes amid confirmation that Ladislav Krejčí will play no part in the club’s next outing.

Girona are primed to return to action on Sunday, when they turn attentions back towards matters on the domestic front in a league meeting with Rayo Vallecano.

The Blanquivermells head into the fixture eyeing a bounce-back result, fresh off a pair of back-to-back defeats across all competitions.

In efforts towards as much, however, Míchel and co. will be forced to make do without an important player.

Girona’s travelling squad bound for Vallecas was unveiled online a short time ago.

And aforementioned summer signing Ladislav Krejčí was an altogether notable absentee.

This comes amid confirmation that the Czech will play no part against Rayo Vallecano, owing to what has been described by the Catalans as ‘pubic discomfort’:
