Getafe headlining on a Friday night in La Liga - props punters love it!

Spain's bad boys need no introduction to readers of this column - they've long been the Primera Division's dirtiest team and it's no surprise whatsoever to see them top of the charts for both cards received and fouls committed.

Value is thin on the ground in the related markets, at least when it comes to the home players, but history shows it can pay to pick the low-hanging, short-priced fruit.

I'll therefore start our Bet Builder by putting centre-back Omar Alderete down for 1+ foul.

He's been a card regular since moving to Spain, first at Valencia and now at Getafe, and I'm sure he'll have his backers again here at 8/5 in that market.

Still, 1+ foul is a bet he lands much more regularly. In fact, it's happened in nine of his last 11 games.

With Alderete also likely to be facing the oft-fouled Inaki Williams here, that gets the nod for a firm base.

Leg 2: Luis Milla 2+ fouls

Next up I'll add Luis Milla for 2+ fouls.

The central midfielder has managed this in seven of his last 10 and it's notable that many players in his position have landed this bet against Athletic in recent games.

One reason for that is the presence of Inigo Ruiz de Galarreta in the Athletic midfield - he's the visitors' most-fouled player and drew no fewer than six in a recent game with Alaves.

Leg 3: Aitor Paredes 2+ fouls

For the value element, I'm going to turn to the visitors but stick in the fouls market.

Aitor Paredes has committed 2+ fouls in five of his last eight games in the midfield but he's out at 5/23.50 for a repeat here.

Hopefully Getafe striker Juanmi Latasa will be in direct opposition here as he's something of a foul magnet but, even if he isn't, such odds seem wrong and while it's far from a banker selection, it's a price which has to be worth backing in some shape or form.

Obviously we're getting towards the end of the season but this game should be competitive with Athletic still in with a chance of a Champions League spot, while Getafe are chasing European football further down the table.

Referee Jesus Gil Manzano averages 28 fouls per game - well above the league average of 26.25 - so let's take a chance on Paredes and put him into a three-legged Bet Builder which pays just shy of 7/18.00.
