Even before the summer transfer is open, Real Madrid have already announced two new signings with Dean Huijsen and Trent Alexander-Arnold arriving from the Premier League.
More arrivals are expected in the coming days as the Merengues intend to travel to the USA for the FIFA Club World Cup with a strong, balanced squad capable of winning the competition.
Alvaro Carreras is likely to be the next signing to reinforce the left-back position following which the focus will shift to the midfield department.
With Real Madrid ruling out splashing the big bucks on a new signing in the centre of the park, VfB Stuttgart ace Angelo Stiller has emerged as the leading target.
Now, according to MARCA, Stiller has already expressed a clear desire to join Real Madrid in the summer, which could pave the way for a smooth transfer.
The report reiterates that the German midfielder is now the main target – though not the only one – for the central midfield role.

Stiller comes highly recommended by Real Madrid legend Toni Kroos and is seen as a more cost-effective option to strengthen the midfield department.
One advantage in this potential transfer is VfB Stuttgart’s status as a selling club in the Bundesliga. And this summer, the main source of income is expected to be the sale of Stiller.
It has been suggested that a deal for the midfielder will cost in the range of €40-50 million.
Apart from Real Madrid, Stiller is also attracting interest from some German clubs, along with Liverpool, West Ham United, Ajax, and Rennes.
But, as things stand, it is claimed that the German international’s preference would be to sign for Real Madrid.
