Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been a presence felt on occasion at Milanello this season, and he is seemingly more present at the moment, when AC Milan need him most.

In the current moment, there is a need for serenity. Milan are two games away from a final which would redeem them slightly after a frustrating season. So, having a figure like Zlatan around can be a much needed boost.

As Gazzetta dello Sport write, via Milan News, Ibrahimovic has actually been a regular presence in the past few days, and was at training yesterday afternoon, just to oversee proceedings rather than host a talk of somekind.

Instead, the focus was simply on being there. He was not there to undermine the coaching staff, far from it. His idea and goal was simple: show the management are close, show the ownership is close and that the team feel the support in person.

After all, the club is desperate for a bit of salvation in this final period and having senior figures around training as further support will only benefit a team who have been the victim of heavy (and largely deserved) criticism this season.

Additionally, it could be an attempt to show support for Sergio Conceicao, who has seemingly felt alone from the management in recent months.
