Gasperini wants Robin Gosens reunion at Roma as Al Hilal close in on Angelino | OneFootball

With Simone Inzaghi now at Al Hilal, it is expected that he will shop a lot in Serie A. This has already started with multiple reports linking Roma defender Angelino to the Saudi club. He was almost ever-present for Roma last season and could really be important for new manager Gian Piero Gasperini but it is easy to see why Inzaghi would like his profile as well. As per Gazzetta.it, Roma are looking at Fiorentina’s Robin Gosens as a replacement. It is, of course, worth pointing out that Gosens played perhaps the best football of his career under Gasperini at Atalanta. Both the player and manager have a lot of respect for each other. That being said, this could be a difficult transfer. Gosens seems key to Fiorentina’s football and having signed the German only recently, it does seem difficult that this goes through easily.
