With Gian Piero Gasperini set to be appointed in the coming days, Roma are already making moves on the transfer front.
Among the names linked to Roma in these hours is that of Dan Neil, a midfielder born in 2001 and captain of Sunderland, a club recently promoted to the Premier League.
According to the English tabloid The Sun, Roma are carefully evaluating the player’s profile, in which interest had already emerged in recent months.
The valuation is said to be around 15 million euros, a figure that could convince the English club, also by virtue of Neil’s contract expiry and the concrete risk of losing other valuable pieces of the squad, such as Jobe Bellingham, Jude’s brother.
Dan Neil represents a young but already experienced profile, having played 48 games in the season that just ended, with a haul of 2 goals and 3 assists.
There has also been interest in the Englishman for some time from Premier League clubs such as West Ham and Everton, but Roma, strong in their new technical project with Gasperini, could enter decisively into the race for the midfielder.
