In recent days, ex-Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has been named as a possible candidate to take over managerial duties at Roma.

In a shocking turn of events, Lampard found himself linked with a first experience in Serie A as the Giallorossi are yet to appoint Ivan Juric’s successor.

Various English news reports also confirmed Lampard’s candidacy for the job.

However, according to The Mirror, the Englishman is now in pole position to land a move to the Championship.

Coventry City are reportedly targeting Lampard as Mark Robins’ replacement and the manager is keen on resuming coaching duties as soon as possible.
