Speaking after the game, Garcia shared his excitement, saying, “It felt amazing, from the way we played to the effort we put in as a team.

The final minutes were a bit stressful and took away from the good feeling, but overall, we did a good job.”

He added that it was important to move on quickly and prepare for the next challenge. “We have to clear our minds and concentrate on the positives. In three days, we face an incredible opponent, and we need to be ready,” he told DAZN.

Garcia could not hide his joy about scoring his goal. “The feeling of scoring is incredible. You’d have to ask Gonzalo, especially, who’s had it more recently.

“It’s something you dream about since you’re a kid; I’m not as lucky as Gonzalo to score so often.

I’m finishing well, I’m feeling good, and anything that can help the team is good,” he said with a smile.

Meanwhile, young forward Gonzalo Garcia continued his fantastic run in the tournament by netting his fourth goal. Speaking after the game, Gonzalo said,

“This is something I couldn’t have imagined. I’m so happy to have scored again, but even more pleased that we won and showed great effort.”

He explained how his goal came about: “Arda gave me a perfect pass. We had talked before the match, knowing Dortmund would leave space behind.

The coach told us to watch for that. I just needed to get in the right spot.”

Gonzalo also wanted to make it clear he’s not just a poacher in the box. “I can finish inside the area, but I don’t want to be seen only as a goalscorer.

I want to do more for the team. But of course, if I keep scoring, that’s great,” he said confidently.

Finally, Gonzalo praised goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois for his crucial role in the win. “Small details make the difference in football. Games are won in both penalty areas.

“Courtois is the best in the world. Like today, he’s saved us so many times. He’s always there when we need him,” Gonzalo concluded.
