Deadline Day has come and gone, but there are a number of Premier League transfers that can still be confirmed outside the window.
It’s still possible for clubs to sell or loan players to leagues that have a later deadline, while moves can be completed beyond England’s cutoff point if a deal sheet has been submitted on time.
Here are all of the deals that should get over the line on Tuesday, some of which may even be confirmed by the time you read this!
Chelsea paid Atletico Madrid £45 million for Joao Felix just last summer, but the Portugal international has made just three Premier League starts since then. With so much competition for places in the Blues’ frontline, Felix is to join AC Milan on loan for the rest of the season. The Serie A side will cover the attacker’s salary and pay a loan fee of €5.5m.
The transfer window in the Netherlands closes on Tuesday, which is when Manchester United are expected to complete a loan deal with PSV for Tyrell Malacia. The left-back has struggled with injuries since moving to Old Trafford from Feyenoord in 2022 and will temporarily return to his homeland after Patrick Dorgu joined the Reds this week.
Brazilian winger Willian is set for a surprise return to Craven Cottage as Fulham seek cover for the injured Harry Wilson. The 36-year-old joined Olympiacos after his contract expired last summer, but terminated his contract with the Greek outfit after making just two starts. The free agent deadline is the end of this week.
Southampton were relatively busy on deadline day, but there is still one more deal to be confirmed this week. Adam Armstrong, who has scored just twice in the Premier League this season, is due to join Championship side West Bromwich Albion to bolster their hopes of promotion.
The 27-year-old has seen his gametime reduced following Ivan Juric’s appointment as manager and that was unlikely to change after the Saints bought Victor Udoh, subject to international clearance. Armstrong’s transfer is awaiting approval from the EFL.
