Former Champions League winner Losada joins Bristol City

The Robins announced the news via a post on their official club website this evening.
The 34-year-old joins Bristol City off the back of a two-year spell with Brighton & Hove Albion. She has signed a three-year deal at Ashton Gate.
Losada has also turned out for Arsenal and Manchester City in the English game. The Spaniard won the Adobe Women’s FA Cup with The Gunners while she lifted the Subway Women’s League Cup with both clubs.
The midfielder made her name in three spells with European giants FC Barcelona. Losada won the UEFA Women’s Champions League title with the Catalan club along with six league titles and 16 domestic cups. The player made the UEFA Women’s Champions League Squad of the Season in 2018/2019.
On the international stage, Losada has been capped by Spain on 65 occasions in which she has scored 13 goals.
After joining Bristol City, Losada said “It’s a good moment for Bristol City and I want to be a part of it and make this club grow.
“I know what it takes to be part of a winning team, and we want to enjoy the journey too.”
Losada is Bristol City’s seventh signing of the summer transfer window.
