We're checking out another Women's Champions League clash tonight, and Kevin Hatchard expects Arsenal to sweep aside Juventus at the Emirates.

Arsenal (W) v Juventus (W)Thursday 21 November, 20:00Live on DAZN

We got stuck at Stamford Bridge last night, as Chelsea's 3-0 win over Celtic in the Women's Champions League left us a goal short. We'll stick with the same competition but head up to North London, because Arsenal are up against Juventus at the Emirates, and I expect a big home win.

Arsenal made a poor enough start to the campaign that they felt they had to part company with long-serving coach Jonas Eidevall. The Swede had been at the helm for three years, but with the Gunners lagging behind in the WSL title race, a change was made. Assistant Renee Slegers stepped up on an interim basis, and she has done well.

Arsenal have won four games and drawn one under Slegers, and all four of those victories were by a multiple-goal margin. Last time out they demolished Tottenham 3-0 in a North London derby at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and in the Champions League they went to Turin and hammered Juventus 4-0.

Juventus are top of their domestic league, and they knocked PSG out of the Champions League at the qualifying stage. However, they have lost 2-0 at home to Bayern and 4-0 at home to Arsenal, and they failed to beat Arsenal in either game they played against each other in 2022.

Given Arsenal's resurgence under Slegers, I'm happy to back them -1 on the Handicap here, and I'll back an Alessia Russo goal to get us to 2.06 on the Sportsbook by using the Bet Builder. England international Russo has netted in four of her last eight games, including three of the last four. If Russo doesn't start in attack, our back-up option is Swedish international striker Stine Blackstenius, who is priced exactly the same. She has found the net in four of her last six games for club and country.
