Phil Foden says City will be back in the hunt for more trophies next season.

City won a record fourth successive top-flight title and sixth Premier League under Pep Guardiola, edging out Arsenal in a title race that went to the final day.

We also lifted both the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup for the first time in the Club's history.

For Foden, it was an extremely successful year personally.

The England international scored 27 goals in 53 appearances, claiming the FWA Footballer of the Year, Premier League Player of the Season and Etihad Player of the Season awards.

However, speaking at the celebratory parade through central Manchester on Sunday, Foden said City will be back in 2024/25.

"We’re delighted with this season but we want to go again and try and win more," he stated.

"It’s the hunger inside me to win trophies. We have a great group.

"It’s been a special season.

"Obviously it’s something nobody’s done before, unbelievable feeling, we couldn’t have done it without the staff or the fans."

On his three individual accolades, Foden insists it was all part of his plan for this term.

"That was the aim to try and be the best player. I’ve had a good one so I’m happy."

In particular, Foden has become known for screamers from outside the box.

The Academy graduate has scored memorable thunderous strikes against Aston Villa, Everton, Manchester United and West Ham.

In fact, he says that final day strike against the Hammers is his favourite goal of the whole campaign.

Asked on the parade bus whether that's now become his trademark, he said: "It has been this season, I’ve scored a few of them this season and I’ve been working on them."
