Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has confirmed that, as things stand, the plan is for summer signing Roony Bardghji to remain with his squad for the season ahead.

This of course comes fresh off an outing to remember for Bardghji on Sunday.

After Barcelona made the trip to Japan for a pre-season friendly meeting with Vissel Kobe, the 19-year-old was introduced to proceedings off the bench.

And Bardghji went on to take full advantage of the opportunity afforded to him…

En route to a 3-1 Blaugrana triumph, the young winger notched his side’s 2nd goal of the day, courtesy of a fine left-footed strike.

Speaking to the media post-match, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of his plans for Bardghji was put to manager Hansi Flick.

And the German tactician went on to confirm:

“The plan is that Roony stays in the first-team. It will depend on him. You can see the qualities he has, just like the other youngsters and Marcus.”
