FC Twente have announced that midfielder Michal Sadilek has left the club to join Czech side Slavia Prague. The 26-year-old was set to be out of contract next summer and, given that the club are not set to play European football next season, he has returned to his native country to play for a side set to compete in the Champions League. The Eredivisie side have not announced how much they have received for the Czech international midfielder.

Sadilek joined the club from PSV Eindhoven back in the summer of 2021, initially on loan until making the move permanent the following season. He had come through the PSV academy and made 40 appearances for the side, scoring twice. During the 2020/2021 season he spent a year on loan with Slovan Liberec in the Czech league. During his four seasons with Twente he played 122 games, scoring seven goals in the process.
