Former Roma attacker Jeremy Menez has called it a career.
The French forward, who played for Roma between 2008 and 2011, announced on a French program his decision to retire.
In a video published on by journalist Jonathan Beilin, the Frenchman explained his decision, motivated by a strong sense of physical and mental exhaustion.
“I have reached the limit of my endurance,” said Menez, who in recent months has been without a team after the end of his contract with Bari last March.
During his three years at Roma, Menez collected 12 goals in over 100 appearances for the club before joining PSG on a three-year contract until 2014.
