Forward Alexis Sanchez will miss Sunday’s Serie A clash between Inter Milan and Udinese due to a calf injury.
Udinese confirm an injury for the 36-year-old Chilean international. He could be on the sidelines for several weeks with the problem.
Forward Alexis Sanchez re-joined Udinese last summer.
The Chilean had spent the 2023-24 season at Inter. He had rejoined the Nerazzurri in 2023, one year after he had left to join Marseille after a three-year spell.
The former Manchester United, Arsenal, and Barcelona veteran then left on a free transfer.
Udinese were the club that convinced Sanchez to re-join. The Friulani had been the club that had launched Sanchez’s decorated clear in European football.
However, Sanchez’s return to Udinese has been heavily disrupted by injuries.
The 36-year-old missed the first chunk of the season. He did, however, eventually make his return late in the campaign.

Sanchez had been absent for Udinese’s first league meeting with Inter this season.
However, the Chilean started against his old side the Nerazzurri in the Coppa Italia in December.
Alexis Sanchez will not be able to start against Inter a second time, however.
As with the first Serie A match between Inter and Udinese this season, Sanchez will be unavailable due to injury.
This time around the problem is a calf injury.
