Manchester United and Crystal Palace shared the spoils in their Premier League clash on Wednesday evening.

The Red Devils travelled to Selhurst Park looking to make it 10 wins in a row.

But they failed to pick up all three points as they were held to a 1-1 draw.

United took the lead in the first half thanks to Bruno Fernandes’ strike.

But Michael Olise’s superb 30-yard free-kick in stoppage-time put an end to United’s winning run.

Crystal Palace fans’ chant about Eric Cantona vs Man Utd

It’s well known that Eric Cantona is not very popular among Crystal Palace fans.

The Frenchman was sent off and given a year-long ban from football after kung-fu kicking a Palace fan in a match against Selhurst Park in 1995.

A chant that Palace fans sung against United earlier this week has emerged on social media.

The X-rated chant was led by an inidividual shouting out the words to the song with a microphone.

The rude song goes as follows: ‘When Eric comes, to Selhurst Park, he’ll bring with him, his s***** team, his ugly wife, his horrible kids, his garlic breath.

“Eric Cantona is a f****** w*****, Eric Cantona is a f****** c*** (x2).

What next for Crystal Palace and Manchester United?

Crystal Palace have not been in the best of form in recent times but are still sitting comfortably in mid-table.

They are 12th and will be looking to add to their 23 points when they welcome Newcastle United to Selhurst Park on Saturday evening.

United, meanwhile, are third and eight points behind Arsenal at the top of the table.

Erik ten Hag will want his side to return to winning ways and cut the gap to Arsenal when they travel to the Emirates Stadium in a mouth-watering clash on Sunday.
