Over 3,800 Bologna fans will travel to Empoli on Tuesday for a Coppa Italia semifinal first leg against the struggling Tuscans with Vincenzo Italiano targeting the fourth Cup Final in his career.
Empoli and Bologna will meet on Tuesday at the Stadio Castellani Computer Gross Arena in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semifinal.
The winner will face Inter or Milan in the Final at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on May 14.
Empoli have yet to win a Serie A match in 2025, grabbing their only victory this year on penalties against Juventus in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals in February.

Ardian Ismajli, Tino Anjorin, Youssef Maleh, Pietro Pellegri, Szymon Zurkowski, Nicolas Haas, and Saba Sazanov will not be available for the Tuscans.
Empoli have never played a Coppa Italia semifinal in their history, but their main target remains earning Serie A survival, so Pianeta Empoli reports that coach Roberto D’Aversa could rest some starters, including Sebastiano Esposito.
Nevertheless, the Empoli boss insisted on Monday that the team’s full focus would be on Tuesday’s historic match.
Bologna’s Santiago Castro hasn’t yet recovered from a muscle injury sustained on international duty and will be the only unavailable player for the Rossoblu.
Bologna coach Vincenzo Italiano said at a pre-match press conference on Monday that his players should not commit the mistake of “already feeling in the Final.”
The ex-Fiorentina coach already reached one Coppa Italia Final and two Conference League Finals during his two-year spell at the Stadio Franchi.
