Detailed rumours about the highly anticipated EA Sports FC 24, which is the first football video game title from Electronic Arts following the end of its partnership with FIFA, are beginning to trickle out.

Dealabs magazine’s data miner Billbil-kun, who has an excellent track record of product leaks, has delivered some tantalising information about the exciting new game that has fans on the edge of their seats.

Billbil-kun has revealed that FC 24 will be released on PC and consoles on September 29, 2023, which comes as no surprise considering EA’s previous history with the FIFA franchise.

As with the FIFA series, their now estranged partners, EA Sports will give players early access to the Ultimate Edition of FC 24.

However, unlike the FIFA Ultimate Edition, which granted players just three days of early access to the game, EA Sports will reportedly give players up to seven days of early access to owners of the FC 24 version.

The FC 24 game logo that has long been kept under wraps has also been unearthed on the PlaystationSize Twitter account, which is notorious for revealing game covers early.

EA Sports FC 24 Cover Star

While Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe was featured on the cover of the previous three FIFA editions, it is believed that the Frenchman will not be returning for FC 24.

PSG were not featured in the official unveiling of the game, and the Ligue 1 champions also failed to share EA’s announcement on any of their social channels.

With the mysterious friction between both parties yet to be resolved, Manchester City star Erling Braut Haaland will reportedly appear on the cover of EA Sports FC 24’s Standard edition.

Having won his first Champions League (CL) trophy last season, the cover of the FC 24 edition shows the Norwegian goalscorer in a CL game about to take a shot with one arm wide open.

However, Haaland would not also be featured on the cover of the FC 24 Ultimate edition.

Although the Man City star is on the front and centre of the cover, he will be joined by 30 other male and female footballers, including Vinicius Junior, Son Heung-min, and Sam Kerr.

They will be accompanied by football icons such as Zinedine Zidane, Johann Cruyff, and Pele, who will appear as characters from the video game via a rendering of the FC 24 graphics engine.

Information on FC 24 prices are limited to only PC – at least for now. The prices for each edition are displayed below in Euros, US dollars and Pounds.

Pre-order opening date

EA Sports FC 24 will reportedly be revealed on July 13, 2023. Players can also begin pre-ordering the game on the same date.
