Paulo Dybala has been ruled out of Roma’s Serie A game against Bologna due to muscle discomfort.
Argentinean talent Dybala won’t be available for Roma in a home Serie A fixture against Bologna on Sunday.
Giallorossi coach Ivan Juric confirmed La Joya’s omission during a pre-match press conference on Saturday.
“Dybala won’t be available because he feels discomfort during the warmup,” Juric explained.
“He wanted to train yesterday, but he couldn’t because of discomfort.

“He’s had many injuries in the past. It’s a classic thing. It’s not an actual injury. He feels discomfort that doesn’t leave him calm. It happened in Belgium; he wanted to train yesterday and started [the training session], but then he felt something.”
The Argentinean was an unused substitute against Union Saint-Gilloise on Thursday.
Dybala has only scored two goals in 12 appearances with Roma this term. His contract runs out in June 2025.
During the same press conference, Juric said that Evan N’Dicka would return to action against the Rossoblu after dealing with a “virus” that forced him to the sidelines in the latest Europa League match against Union Saint-Gilloise.
Juric also explained that he feels Mats Hummels is still not ready to replace the Ivorian centre-back, so he picked Bryan Cristante in central defence in the latest mid-week fixture.
Juric remains on the brink at Roma and according to Gazzetta, the Croatian tactical will likely be sacked after the next match.
