Dusan Vlahovic remains on Manchester United’s radar with Juventus open to a £20 million sale | OneFootball

Manchester United are expected to finalize their deal for Bryan Mbeumo before shifting their focus to signing a ruthless striker.

Links with Viktor Gyokeres continue to increase, but recruiting the Sporting CP hotshot will not be financially feasible without player sales.

So far, INEOS have failed to move on the likes of Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, and Antony, and it looks like a striker might not be arriving before July.

The Sweden international also has other suitors chasing his signature while another top target in Victor Osimhen’s wage demands in all likelihood mean a move to Old Trafford is all but ruled out.

Striker hunt going on in full swing

Givemesport have relayed the Red Devils’ interest in a cost-effective option — Dusan Vlahovic of Juventus. He managed 15 goals and five assists last season.

And the season before, he was adjudged Striker of the Season in Serie A as he netted 16 goals in the league, which shows his pedigree.

And the Bianconeri have failed to agree a new deal with him, and in a bid to not lose him for free next season, they are ready to sell him for a cut-price fee of only £20 million.

United like the option of adding the Serbian for such a price, and it looks like the 25-year-old could be the ideal backup option in case a deal for Gyokeres or Osimhen cannot be agreed.

“Amorim wants that integral figure to lead the line and Wilcox wants to deliver that. Amorim’s former charge Viktor Gyokeres is on their radar and talks have been held, as they have been for Victor Osimhen too – who has turned down Saudi Arabia, as he is keen on England.

“I am also told not to discount Dusan Vlahovic – the appeal of him is that he could move for just £20 million this summer.”

Dusan Vlahovic has long been on United’s radar, and they even tried to sign him in January. Even though fans want Gyokeres or Osimhen, the Juventus striker would also be a huge upgrade on Rasmus Hojlund.

The Serbia international, not too long ago, was hot property during his Fiorentina days, and all of Europe’s elites including the 20-time English league champions, were chasing his signature only for the Turin-based club to win the race.

Now the stars could finally be aligning for him to earn a move to the Theatre of Dreams after a difficult spell with Juventus.
