Pep Guardiola has no interest in City’s winning streak against Fulham ahead of our latest Premier League clash.

Our current run of 16 successive wins against the Cottagers in all competitions is the longest ever recorded by one English league side against another.

If City avoid defeat against Fulham on Saturday at 15:00 (UK), we will also go more than two years without defeat at home over 90 minutes.

Brentford were the last side to leave with three points on November 12, 2022 although the Bees raced into a first-minute lead against City earlier this season before losing 2-1, while John Stones late equaliser against Arsenal snatched a point.

But the boss in focused on trying to pick up another victory going into the international break and dismissed any talk of records.

“I don't like these questions, don't tell me!” Guardiola said when asked about the potential landmark.

“Last time it was the last time you lost was Brentford, and we were 1-0 down in the first minute, although I would say we are always 1-0 down against Brentford in the first minute!

"But don't ask me these questions, please."

Instead, Guardiola is preparing his side to face a Fulham side that have made a strong start to the new campaign.

Marco Silva’s team currently sit sixth in the Premier League, just three points behind the Blues and without a defeat since the opening day of the season.

And the boss has been impressed by what he has seen from the London Club and is expecting a difficult afternoon.

"I would love to say we have won the last 60 games in a row and we will start the game 2-0 and we are going to win," he added.

"Only thing I've seen is the last six games and since defeat in the United game and they didn't lose.

"Marco Silva has already spent a few years there in London and they bought interesting players there, especially [Joachim] Andersen and other experienced guys.

"It's always a team that creates a lot of problems. They have a lot of weapons, speed - [Alex] Iwobi, the form he is playing, the speed from Adama Traore always creates a problem, the structure defensively, that is my only concern.

"What they do, not what happened in the past."
