Goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic is open to a move to AS Monaco, but Chelsea’s valuation could be an issue according to reports.
Chelsea are once again set for another busy summer and have already agreed a deal to sign Liam Delap from Ipswich.
The Blues could look to sell as many as seven or eight players to fund their business, with the club potentially looking at another striker, centre back and right footed attacker.
Supporters would love to see Chelsea sign a new keeper this summer, and the Blues have had well documented issues between the sticks.
No keeper has made more errors leading to goals in the league than Sanchez, whilst Filip Jorgensen has also had his struggles after joining last summer.
Petrovic was named Strasbourg Player of the Season.
However, Petrovic, who impressed under Mauricio Pochettino has rebuilt his career after being sent on loan to Strasbourg.
The 25-year-old excelled in Ligue 1 as Chelsea’s sister club secured qualification for the Conference League, and Petrovic was named Strasbourg’s Player of the Season.
The Serb has been linked with Aston Villa, but it’s been reported Petrovic will return to Chelsea and compete for the number one shirt.
However, L’Equipe via Get French Football News have reported Monaco are interested in Petrovic and he would be open to a move, but Chelsea’s €25m valuation could be an issue.
Despite it being unclear if Chelsea will look to sign another goalkeeper that hasn’t stopped keepers being linked with the club.
Chelsea have most recently been linked with a move for Aston Villa’s Emi Martinez and it’s believed Villa have set an asking price of £40m.
