Djordje Petrovic joins Cherries on five-year deal | OneFootball

AFC Bournemouth have announced the signing of goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic on a five-year deal.

Petrovic initially joined the Blues from New England Revolution in 2023 and made 31 appearances for the club in his first season.

Last season, the Serbian was sent on loan to Strasbourg where he impressed during his time with the Ligue 1 team leading to the Cherries signing the shot-stopper for a reported £25 million.

"I’m really happy to be here," the 25-year-old said on his arrival at the club.

"I came to Bournemouth because I want to grow and I want to play at the best level. Together with this club, with these facilities, I think we can achieve it. I want to help the team get the results, improve every day and be a better player."

Petrovic is Bournemouth's second signing of the summer window following the arrival of Adrien Truffert from Rennes last month.
