Djordje Petrovic, Axel Disasi and Wesley Fofana miss out, Mamadou Sarr included in Chelsea squad for FIFA Club World Cup | OneFootball

Chelsea Football Club have now confirmed their list of players who will participate in the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup which is set to take place in the United States from 15th June to 13th July this summer. Following a report from the Daily Telegraph, the club have now confirmed that AS Monaco target Djordje Petrovic has not been included in the squad – despite a deal for AC Milan’s Mike Maignan seemingly falling through. French pair Axel Disasi as well as Marseille target Wesley Fofana have also missed out in the squad. Fofana is reportedly back at Cobham recovering from injury, but Foot Mercato reported at the end of April that the Frenchman could be allowed to leave the West London club this summer, with Olympique de Marseille retaining their long-term interest in the player. Mamadou Sarr (19) officially joined Chelsea only two days ago from fellow BlueCo club Strasbourg – where Enzo Maresca will asses the young defender’s level during the tournament in the United States.
