Napoli confirmed on Monday that striker Romelu Lukaku may require surgery after sustaining thigh injury during pre season friendly.

How the Injury Happened

Lukaku was forced off in Napoli’s 2 - 1 win over Olympiacos last Thursday. Medical tests later revealed serious problem in his left thigh muscle.

Napoli’s Medical Update

The club stated that Lukaku's already started rehabilitation while awaiting surgical consultation. However no timeline has been given for his return.
