Ruben Dias believes City have achieved more in the past four years than could ever have been expected of a side in English football.

The Portuguese defender has maintained his incredible 100% record of winning the Premier League title in every season since joining the Club back in 2020.

In doing so, City have become the first men’s side in English football history to win four successive top flight titles, with a UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup to add to the cabinet for 2023/24.

They’re achievements that Dias admits have exceeded anything that would've been expected of him and his team-mates, but that they also remain a massive source of personal pride.

He said: “Obviously, it’s special [to win four successive Premier League titles].

“For me, individually, of course but what we’re doing as a team goes beyond any expectation anyone could have [had of us].

“That's what I’m most proud of.”

Dias also spoke of the incredible atmosphere that greeted the squad at the Four-in-a-Row Trophy Parade.

The players’ open top bus left Cathedral Gardens by the National Football Museum before travelling through Exchange Square and down Deansgate.

They were joined by a sea of blue on the streets of Manchester who joined in the celebrations after another incredible campaign.

For Dias, the party atmosphere was just rewards for the relentless efforts that he and the players have put in across 2023/24.

“It’s incredible, it’s special, it’s never been done before,” he added.

“It’s time to celebrate now.

“We were looking forward to it, now’s the time.”
