I’m sick to death of hearing about Arsenal Football Club.

I’m also sick of Alexander Isak being linked to that awful club.

It’s just wishful thinking from the deluded Arsenal fanbase, fuelled by complete nuggets like Paul Merson and Piers Morgan in the mainstream media.

Any manager or team would want Isak in their ranks, including Arteta and Arsenal. He’s much better than what the Gunners already have in Jesus And Havertz, neither of them could lace Alex’s boots.

So my question for you all on The Mag today, is how many Arsenal players would get into Newcastle United’s first eleven?

David Raya is a definite upgrade on the Gunners former keeper Aaron Ramsdale. I think he would probably nudge aside our two best current keepers, Martin Dubravka and Nick Pope.

Gabriel has been an outstanding performer since he joined Arsenal in 2020. A strong and accomplished left-sided Brazilian international defender, this bloke might just get the nod off Eddie Howe over Sven Botman or Big Dan Burn.

Fabian Schar is more reliable and effective than William Saliba on the right side of defence, whilst Arsenal’s full-backs aren’t up to the standard of Tino Livramento and Lewis Hall.

The cultured Martin Odegaard would get into our midfield engine room, probably at the expense of Joelinton.

Declan Rice is overrated and was way overpriced. He’s not getting past Sandro Tonali or Bruno Guimaraes.

Bakayo Saka would walk into our attack on the right.

I would rather have Anthony Gordon or Harvey Barnes than the talented but inconsistent Gabriel Martinelli.

So there you have it. In my opinion only four Arsenal players would possibly make it into our first team.

As I’ve already said, I’m really fed up of this ‘hype and banter’ club. I also think Mikel Arteta will be sacked at the end of this season.

Let’s see these self-entitled Gooners off in the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg at St James’ Park in February. They’ll be jealous as hell if we reach Wembley.

There’s also nothing to stop us finishing above them in the Premier League top four.

The media love in with Arsenal after their midweek fixture has been laughable.

After losing their previous two matches (in the cups) at home to Newcastle United and Man U, they did manage to narrowly beat their hapless neighbours Spurs.

It now seems that everything is rosy once again in the Gunners garden.

Forest, Newcastle, Chelsea and remarkably Man City, have been written off as challengers to leaders Liverpool for the EPL title.
