Orlando Pirates offer condolences for Ndoro

The South African club Orlando Pirates has announced in recent hours the passing of their former Zimbabwean international striker, Tendai Ndoro, who died after a long battle with illness.A close source confirmed the news to South African outlet Soccer Laduma: “Unfortunately, he was found dead in his apartment here in South Africa. I am in contact with someone close to his family.”
In an official statement, the club said:
"Orlando Pirates Football Club is deeply saddened by the passing of their former striker, Tendai Ndoro."The statement concluded:
"We send our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and everyone close to him during this painful time."Tendai Ndoro was born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. He made a name for himself with Chicken Inn in the local league before continuing his career in South Africa with the Black Aces and then Orlando Pirates.He later played in Saudi Arabia with Al-Faisaly before returning to South Africa to suit up for Ajax Cape Town and Highlands Park.After hanging up his boots, Ndoro suffered from severe health issues affecting his eyesight and physical condition. Although he experienced a brief recovery following surgery, illness ultimately claimed his life.
