Another new signing to get to know. Koni De Winter, the Belgian defender who has joined us from Genoa, has held his first press conference as an AC Milan player, broadcast live on the AC Milan Official App and Milan TV.

KONI'S SUMMER "It's been a special summer. I signed for AC Milan and also played for my country. I think I've always performed well at San Siro, a stadium I really like because of the fans and the atmosphere - it's truly a fantastic place to play. Everything happened so fast, but when a club like AC Milan calls, it's really hard to say no."

COACH ALLEGRI "It's great to work under him again. He gave me my professional debut and always believed in me. Before, he used to play me as a full-back, which I didn't enjoy much, but now he can put me wherever he wants, as long as I'm playing (laughs). Defending is a team effort; we all defend together, and the Coach is very good on the defensive side of things. That’s what we’re working on right now."

POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITY ON THE PITCH "I'm a centre-back, and've specialised in this role, but of course if I'm asked to play elsewhere, I'd be happy to. Three at the back or four? It doesn't make much difference, because I've played in both systems at my previous clubs and have always adapted - it's not a problem for me. As for set-pieces, I've noticed the quality of our players' deliveries, and that's a promising sign."

THE ROSSONERI SHIRT "It's a prestigious shirt and a joy to wear. I have many goals and dreams, and, game by game, I always try to give my best for the team. I believe good things will follow if you keep doing this."

ARRIVING AT AC MILAN "Nothing is lacking here; everything you need is at your disposal, and, as a player, it feels great to see how the Club does everything to make you feel comfortable. I think I've taken everything step by step, and, looking back, I realise that everything came at the right time. Being here is no exception."
