AC Milan have still not hired a new sporting director, but one of the issues that must be resolved is the future of Kyle Walker.

As Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) reports, the casting continues at Casa Milan for the new sporting director. This week, CEO Giorgio Furlani met again in Rome with Igli Tare (who remains a possible candidate), but there was no white smoke with the former Lazio director this time either.

Making this choice is necessary not only to start planning for next season, but also to try to understand how to structure and/or modify the team in some of its players. The director will have several tasks, above all that of having a say on the future of some players, such as Theo Hernandez.

Also added to the list of decisions to make is Walker. The English full-back is on loan with an option to buy from Manchester City, and we will therefore have to wait for the appointment of the director to understand what his future will be.

In his first few months with the Rossoneri, Walker has demonstrated that he has the ability and the experience to be part of a squad that are looking to bounce back. It remains to be seen if the club agree.
