The confirmed Newcastle team v Celtic has now been announced.
Newcastle United playing their first pre-season friendly of the summer in front of fans.
Last Saturday a 4-0 behind closed doors win over Carlisle at the training ground.
This afternoon, 10,000+ Newcastle United fans officially inside Celtic Park.
However, many more having bought tickets amongst the Celtic fans in the home sections.
Eddie Howe and his players now four weeks away from the new season Premier League season kicking off.
A busy pre-season ahead, with travel to Singapore to face Arsenal, two matches in South Korea, including one against Tottenham.
Plus then two games at St James’ Park to finish off pre-season.

The official Newcastle United site explaining the absence from today’s squad of both Isak and Joelinton:
‘Alexander Isak and Joelinton do not feature in today’s matchday squad, with the pair both having their minutes managed, but Howe has a number of experienced options to deploy from the bench, including new signing Elanga, who arrived from Nottingham Forest last week, as well as Anthony Gordon, Sandro Tonali and Dan Burn.’
